My Favorite Free Online Educational Websites For Kids
If You Are Looking For Great Education & Learning Tools Try These!
Education is something that has been an important issue for me since I first found out I was having my son. With my daughters I had worked and sent them to school in the traditional way that everyone else I knew did. I wanted to do something different this time.
Early child development and education was more important for me this time around. I didnt have the internet available to me when my daughters were born but, I now had a wealth of information at my fingertips. One of the first programs I tried when my son was about 18 months old was the My Baby Can Read reading system. It worked a little as he did recognize some words but I wanted to teach him myself, not stick him in front of the television.
So I have been on a journey to locate the best free {a few are low cost) online educational websites. Below you will find a list of my favorites. If you have favorites of your own please share them in the comments section below.
The Best Free Christian Curriculum For Preschoolers
From the time I found out I was having another baby I knew God had a plan for me and my child. My son is just about 4 years old now. After much prayer with my husband we have decided that I am going to home-school our son. We want our son to get the best education possible and grow up knowing the bible and all the great things God has done for us. So I began the research for a home-school program that was right for us. I found what I think is the best free faith based prek program ABC Jesus Loves Me. My favorite thing about this website is that God is a part of my everyday lessons. We go to church and my son knows who God is but with every lesson he learns the foundation of our faith in a way that he understands.
ABC Jesus Loves Me is the foundation of my son's education right now. It's not the only learning activity he does though. I found some fantastic free websites that are educational and entertaining for kids. I hope all of my research will help and inspire you to participate in your child's education.
